The Infrared Investigator

In August of 2013, electro-optical engineer, author, and
educator Barbara Grant of Cupertino presented infrared images and discussed the
basics of infrared imagery analysis with respect to the infrared videotapes
captured over Waco, Texas, on April 19, 1993. Were the bright flashes seen on
video reflections from sunlight off debris, or gunfire? She reprises this
presentation with a new angle, the need for standards in forensic imagery
analysis. Without standards separating scientific fact from popular fiction,
how can analysts hope to arrive at scientific truth, particularly when a
highly-disputed matter is at issue? Please join Barbara Grant for this
informative presentation.
