The Los Altos Stage Company presents The Fantasticks, Sept. 5 - Sept. 29, 2013 at the Bus Barn Theater. The Fantasticks, the world’s longest running musical, is a funny and romantic fable about a boy, a girl, his father, her mother, and a wall. The narrator, El Gallo, bids the audience to draw on their imagination and follow him into a world of moonlight and magic. The boy and the girl fall in love, grow apart, and find their way back to each other after realizing the truth in El Gallo’s words that “without a hurt, the heart is hollow”.
