Teen/Young Adult Writing Workshop with Katherine Longshore ("Gilt" and "Tarnish")

We are thrilled to welcome author Katherine Longshore (“Tarnish”) for a special author event and writer’s workshop for teens and young adults. Katherine Longshore is the author of GILT, a story of friendship and betrayal set in the court of Henry VIII and TARNISH, the story of a young Anne Boleyn.

They are part of a series of novels about three different girls as they navigate the halls and pitfalls of Henry’s palaces, facing love, popularity, lies and execution. “Teens with a love of history will not be able to resist this skillful retelling of the remarkable achievement of Anne Boleyn who rose from a tarnished foreign outcast to the King’s bride.”  Kirkus Reviews

“My books are historically accurate, but written with a more contemporary voice and deal with issues entirely relatable to a modern audience—friendship, popularity, love, betrayal and dreams.”  Katherine Longshore
