Pinewood School in Los Altos is hosting a Community Service Event for kids and families to get involved and become aware of local volunteer organizations. Our children will participate in assembling/making different donation packages. We are setting up classrooms for 6 organizations - Lucille Packard Hospital, Bridgepoint & TC Care Homes, Help One Child, Humane Society, My New Red Shoes and a Community Garden (harvests to be distributed to organizations year round). We have 2 sessions - 1:30p-3pm and 4-5:30pm. In addition, from 3-4pm we will have a general fair where other organizations will have tables and materials/sign-up sheets for their causes.
