Palo Alto Arbor Day Festival

There’s no better way to celebrate Arbor Day than roped tree climbing! Kids ages 6 to 14 will be able to “get into” trees at Palo Alto’s Arbor day festival, held by Canopy on Saturday March 8, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto.

This free outdoor family festival will include live music by The Banana Slug String Band, a performance by The Tree Circus, craft activities with a variety of local nonprofits such as The Palo Alto Art Center, Master Gardeners, The City of Palo Alto, Friends of the Palo Alto Library, among others.

The festival will also feature food from The Oaxacan Kitchen Mobile and other area food and ice cream trucks. Join us!
