One block of State Street in downtown Los Altos has been closed and the city has rolled out the green carpet for community events.
GreenTown Los Altos will host a festival, "Green Day on the Green," on Sunday, August 11, from 10-4, and over 20 environmental groups and businesses that sell "green" products will participate. There will be a Water Magic Show at 11:30, music by Black Mountain Radio from 1:30-3:30, solar cooking demonstrations all day and an hourly raffle for fun prizes. Come join us for the fun and learn something too!
