Acterra presents: California's Progress Towards a Clean Energy Economy

The final talk from Acterra's lecture series " Solcing the Climate Puzzle" features Janea Scott, Commissioner at the California Energy Commission (CEC), was appointed by Gov. Brown in February 2013. She is one of five officials charged with implementing the state's energy policies. 

Commissioner Scott will discuss the growing role of renewable energy in the state's economy as well as CEC programs that support energy efficiency and conservation, cutting edge research, and renewable energy development. In her talk, Scott will also draw on her recent experience at the U.S. Department of the Interior with the development of renewable energy on public lands.
