Top 5 From the Los Altos Police Log: An Altercation Over Clothing on Sept. 1

Small non-injury collisions, a warrant, and possible drug use in public topped the incidents logged in Thursday.

The following information was supplied by the Los Altos Police Department and reflect how incidents were initially reported. Wherever arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not mean a conviction. 

1. Assault Report: 10:34 p.m.,Thursday, September 1; 800 block of Fremont Avenue; incident report taken. 49-year old patient in a wheelchair at Los Altos Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Center became angry with a visitor who was moving her clothes around (while visiting another patient). A small physical altercation ensued. No visible injuries and no one desired prosecution.

 2. Be on Lookout Broadcast for Petty Theft from Mountain View Bulletin: 12:54 p.m., Thursday, September, 1; 600 block of Showers Drive.

 3. Misdemeanor Warrant: 7:40 p.m., Thursday, September 1; subject cited and released, report taken by officer. 

 4. Healthy and Safety Violation, Possible Drug Use on Bike Path: 10:09 a.m., Thursday, September 1, Delphi Court and Delphi Circle; officer checked area, subjects gone on arrival.

- Non-Injury Accident: 8:34 a.m., Thursday, September 1; 200 block of Main Street; officer assisted with names exchange. 

 

- Non-Injury Hit-and-Run: 3:46 p.m., Thursday, September 1; 100 block of State Street; no report taken. 

 

- Non-Injury Accident: 10:44 p.m., Thursday, September 1; S. San Antonio Road and Foothill Expressway; report taken.
