@Pam Marino, which one? There are three in Los Altos!

Any Peets is a great coffee shop. I only know of two in Los Altos, the one in downtown, and the one on El Camino Real. Where is the third? I haven't been to the one on ECR, so I'll choose the downtown location.

The third is on Homestead Road in the smaller Homestead Crossings, next to the Foothill Crossings Shopping Center. There's a photo in this article. http://losaltos.patch.com/articles/council-supports-traffic-light-at-trader-joe-s-appoints-commissioners

Nope. That Peets is in Cupertino. Trader Joe's is in Los Altos! The border runs through that shopping center. And Homestead is 100 percent in Los Altos, until just before Stevens Creek, where Los Altos, Sunnyvale and Cupertino abut each other.

Main Street Cafe has welcomed a corps of bridge players almost every day of the week. They let us play while providing table delivery of our coffee and other drinks and pastry treats to share. Thank you so much, Main St. Cafe! You are exactly what a neighborhood coffee house should be. We are so grateful!

I have sat in Main Street Cafe and much enjoyed it, myself!

Main Street Cafe is spacious, service is excellent. The staff is warm and efficient. I play cards there several times a week , the coffee is good and the service tremendous. It gets my vote!
