Pre-July 4 BBQ at the Senior Center
Burgers, iced tea and more at the Los Altos Senior Center Barbeque at Hillview: it was all just a warm-up to Independence Day.
Sometimes it's just nice to get in the mood of July 4 a little early. The Los Altos Senior Center recently held a pre-Independence Day barbecue on the patio.
Margie and Aldo Bin provided entertainment. Los Altos City Council member Jarrett Fishpaw dropped by. Bellarmine Preparatory School students waited tables and manned the beverage table.
It was a prelude to the July 4 picnic at Shoup Park, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and to any number of evening barbecues that will be hitting the parks this weekend.
