Police Calls: Petty Thefts

Oct. 2 was relatively quiet,  right down to the gas powered leaf blower that turned out to be electric. 

Disturbance

• 7:56 a.m., 1000 block of Covington Road; disturbing the peace, information only, no crime, no further action needed

Gas Leaf Blower Violation

• 10:03 a.m., 1900 block of Julie Lane; use of gas leaf blower complaint, unfounded, subject using electric leaf blower

Rubbish Complaint

• 10:36 a.m., 1900 block of Deodara Drive; possible blight issue, referred to code enforcement

Traffic Collision

• 12:47 a.m., S. El Monte Ave and Foothill Expressway; accident, no injuries, property damage only, report taken, citation issued

Theft

• 2:30 p.m., 400 block of Alicia Way; theft, undefined cold report,  petty theft, information only, no report requested
• 3:58 p.m., 911, 1900 block of El Camino Real, Mountain View; undefined theft in progress, transferred to Mountain View Police  
• 6:44 p.m., 201 Almond Avenue (LA HS); theft of a bicycle 

Health & Safety Violation

• 2:44 p.m, Grant Road and Portland Avenue; found property, possible illegal drugs, report taken

Suspicious Person

• 3:58 p.m., El Camino Real and Los Altos Ave.; suspicious subject, unfounded

Noise

• 6:09 p.m.,  500 block of Lassen Street; noise complaint, officer responded and noise had stopped prior to his arrival

Found Property

7:12 p.m., Main Street and Third Street; found property

 Gunshots Heard

 10:47 p.m., 900 block of Odell Way; gunshots heard, officers responded , gone on arrival
