The staff of Opa! prides itself on using the freshest ingredients to prepare their Greek menu, which embodies “the homemade traditions and spirit of their Greek heritage.” Opa! will have its regular menu, plus special offerings for a Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu. That would include soup and salad, an entree, such as a pan-seared halibut in Greek lemon sauce, and a dessert. On this special day, Opa! offers a white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry sauce, for example, and always, its signature Loukoumades, a puffy, Greek fried dough confection, drizzled with honey and walnut crumbles. A bonus for those who tend to forget about making reservations until it's too late: All seatings at Opa! are done on a walk-in basis.

Ristorante Il Porcino is known for its classic Italian cuisine. The staff is planning several special menu items to offer their diners on Valentine’s evening. They have a special menu that night with main dishes that include rack of lamb, veal shank over saffron risotto, chicken with asparagus and grilled Portobello mushroom. Reservations are still wide open (Il Porcino's sister restaurant by the same name in Fremont is already all booked up).

For Valentine’s Day, the chef at Aldo’s—a well-known, contemporary Italian restaurant—will be serving up special menu items and a signature Valentine’s dessert—but you’ll have to wait and be pleasantly surprised by what they are. In the past, the dessert has been something spectacular, like their famous chocolate-covered gelato in the shape of a heart—but management says, you never know what the chef will surprise diners with!

If you’re a fan of the cuisine at Los Altos Grill, then book now, see what the offerings are when you arrive, for your Valentine’s meal. The chef will be preparing a list of specials for diners on the 14th, but won’t be revealing the contents of the list until that day!
