Los Altos Hills' Homespun Fourth of July Parade

Residents kick off the Fourth of July with the Third Annual Los Altos Hills Fourth of July Parade.

Residents from Los Altos Hills and nearby towns kicked off their holiday celebration with the Third Annual Los Altos Hills Fourth of July Parade.

Kids of all ages took their elaborately decorated vehicles, bicycles and wagons along the parade route on Fremont Road, which began at the Town Hall and ended at . 

“Fourth of July means parades, watermelon, and celebrating America,” said Joan Rabin, whose grandchildren, Nathan and Eli Levy, participated in the parade.

The red, white and blue celebrants joyfully marched under the hot, morning sun and finished with refreshing watermelon and drinks.
