Downtown Los Altos Water Service to be Interrupted the Night of St. Patrick's Day
Customers with hot water recirculation pumps should disconnect them before 10 p.m. or risk damage.
Water service for downtown customers will be interrupted Thursday, from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Friday, to connect the new water main on First and Main streets to the distribution system.
California Water Service Company advises that customers with hot water recirculation pumps should disconnect the device prior to this time period "in order to avoid damage to the unit."
