Thursday: Meet The Editor & Do Good

Dine Out For Packard comes serendipitously at a time I was about to launch monthly "Meet the Editor" coffee mornings. 

The idea is simple (and definitely not unique—I stole this from Los Gatos Editor Sheila Sanchez), but it comes with a twist this first month: When you drop by my table Thursday, April 19, a portion of the bill will support the Lucile Packard Children's Fund.

I've invited some of Patch's bloggers to drop by, so you might meet them, as well. Look for the me and my Macbook with a big Patch decal at the following times at these participating businesses:

9 - 10:30 a.m. , 145 First St.

2 - 4 p.m. , 133 Main St. 

That's the schedule for now. I may be at other businesses in between, and if you spot me and the decal on my computer, come over and introduce yourself.
