PHOTOS: Los Altos Chamber Business Mixer Gets Lively This Week

State Farm hosts a courtyard party, and two new businesses get introduced to the chamber.

The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce organizes "after hours" business mixers each month that provide members of the business community to mingle.

State Farm, via Jim Flynn and Al Ward, hosted Wednesday at 4546 El Camino Real, in the center's courtyard. The One Way Band was in full swing, the Chef Chu's Chinese Chicken Salad was "plated" in take-out cartons, and two bars were ably manned by a rotating volunteers.

Portola Wellness and XCeed Financial Services were welcomed as new members. Portola Wellness, at 4 Main St., provides psychotherapy and medication management. XCeed Financial is a full services company specializing in business loans, including start-up loans.
