Thank you to all of the retailers who closed their doors on Thanksgiving Day so their employees could be with their families on this Holiday. As consumers let's try hard to buy everything we need prior to the holiday so they will continue to remain closed for these hard working people. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter.

I remember, growing up, the shopping all Tuesday and Wednesday. Then some stores began to have late Wednesday night hours for frantic cooks who had forgotten something. I almost savored the way the world seemed to stop, come Thanksgiving Day.
