March Home Sales Jump in Los Altos & Los Altos Hills

From zero days on the market to 862 days, 58 homes were sold in March. Some, for 20 percent over asking in Los Altos.

 

Home sales in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills jumped sharply in March from February as the market is entering into the busiest season of the year.

In March, a total of 42 single-family homes and eight condominiums were sold in Los Altos; and eight homes were sold in Los Altos Hills. They range from a half a million two-bedroom condo to a $7 million+ Mediterranean estate in Los Altos Hills.

Many of the homes, especially those in Los Altos, were sold at over the asking price—some by as much as 20% or more.
