Why go: This is an annual event and one that has a ten-year tradition in our community. The run starts at the Westwind Community Barn, runs through the Byrne Preserve and extends into the Los Altos Hills Pathways system. There;s also a 5K run/walk and a one-mile fun run, that start after the main race.

Pricing: $25 to $30

Where/When: , 3535 Truman Ave. Saturday, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy the music of our talented students from Mountain View High School, Los Altos High School and Graham Middle School. And if that's not enough, there will be some guest artists, too. But remember this is an outdoor music festival, so don't forget the blankets or beach chairs. Bring your younger kids so they can get inspiration.  The event is a fundraiser for the MVHS instrumental music program. And of course, all you high school and middle school students should be out there to support your classmates.
