Friday Night Live: An Informal Teen Showcase
Here's what happens when you open up the mike at the Los Altos Youth Center for teens from Los Altos Hills and Los Altos.
Los Altos and Los Altos Hills youth commissions got together for some live performances May 20 at the youth center, performing by and for themselves.
Here's just a snippet.
The performance list had a couple of bands, the Bullis Charter School Choir, and a lot of singer-musicians, all going by one name.

"We're kind of chill," said Allika Walvekar, a member of the Los Altos Hills Youth Commission, by way of explanation. So, Los Altos Patch is, too. We've listed students on the video only by their first names, just like the play list.
Students came from Gunn High School, Harker School, Mountain View High School, andwas open to any Los Altos or Los Altos Hills student.
