On Wednesday, May 11, at 4:30 p.m., beloved children's book author Jeannie Birdsall will be at Linden Tree for the release of the third book in the series, The Penderwicks at Point Mouette!
The first book in the series, The Penderwicks, has won numerous awards including the National Book Award for Young People's Literature. The second book, The Penderwicks on Gardam Street, was published in April 2008. It was named one of Publishers Weekly 2008 Best Books of the Year.
The third Penderwick book, The Penderwicks at Point Mouette, is being released this week. Please join the staff at Linden Tree for the special event and introduction to the creator of the Penderwicks.
