Native Plant Sale at Hidden Villa Ranch in Los Altos Hills

Native Plant Sale at Hidden Villa Ranch. Sponsored by the California Native Plant Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter.

Go green and save money at the same time by including native plants in your garden. Native plants provide habitat for birds and butterflies, add beauty and a sense of place, and are also economical in the long run because they require less water, less energy, and no synthetic chemicals. Discover the possibilities at the Native Plant Sale at Hidden Villa Ranch in Los Altos Hills on Saturday, October 15, 2011.

Choose from scores of hard-to-find species, from deergrass and monkey flower to redbud and blue-eyed grass, from orchids and lilies to sedums and buckwheat. Speak with seasoned gardeners about water-wise alternatives to a lawn, including native perennials, shrubs, wildflowers, and grasses. Browse books, posters, and note cards featuring native plants. Attend a free one-hour class at 1pm on success with native plants.
