Lammas is the Festival of the First Fruits - the first of the Harvest Festivals. It is a time to honor the abundance of our Mother Earth and all the ways that She sustains us. In this ritual, we build a community healing altar for our planet, our communities, and ourselves. We honor the abundance of our planet by bringing offerings of the harvest (corn, berries, grains, fresh bread, and such), and give thanks by singing, dancing, and sending healing energy out through the web of life by which we are all connected. Then we feast! 

If you are a singer, music maker, poetry writer or reader - contact us early and help create the ritual! If you want to help with the ritual or altar building, just let us know. All are welcome.

For the altar : 

Bring a food or drink item to share. It will be placed on the altar and blessed, and then shared. Organic, fresh foods and drinks are the most appropriate for this ritual. 

Bring statues, stones, flowers, or other items for the altar that symbolize for you healing, community, and our Mother Earth. All deities welcome.
