Bike and Bike Safety Expo Is Tuesday!

See demonstrations, learn about bike safety and enter a chance to win a bike and helmet!

Greentown Los Altos invites you to join us Tuesday, March 29th to kick off Los Altos and Los Altos Hills participation in the Drive Less Challenge.  The Drive Less Challenge is a friendly social competition to do less solo driving. It starts on Earth Day, April 22nd to  May 5th.  You keep track of how you get from place to place, and take opportunities to bike, walk, carpool and take transit instead of driving alone in a car. You can set a personal goal for the amount of Green Travel

The GTLA kickoff event includes talks and demonstrations on bike/walk safety by the Los Altos police department and bikes and bike accessories on hand, along with bike experts to explain the newest in gear that can help bicyclists commute and run errands safely and effectively.  The event will be at Hillview Community Center in Los Altos  and starts at 7pm.
