Colvin Pitts (www.colvinpitts.com) has been creating imaginative sculptures nearly his entire life.   The first of his 2 areas of inspiration these areas is his imaginative childhood (perhaps overly so), where he found that any reality could be created from nothing more than boards, nails, sticks and some baling wire. The second source of inspriation is the beauty and tranquility of the natural world. The outdoors has always served him as a haven whenever one was needed.

Laura Oliphant has been photographing since she was 10 years old, first with an old brownie camera, then with a film SLR. In the late 90s, she was visiting Nikon as part of her work as an engineer and was fortunate enough to be given a personalized tour of the Nikon digital camera factory in Sendai. Ever since then, she has shot with Nikon cameras, first with the D70, and currently with a D300. Laura has won many prizes at the Alameda County Fair, and has also had many photos published in local newspapers and in journals. She also recently had some of her work featured at the Adobe Photoshop Pop-Up Shop in San Francisco. She travels extensively and recently experienced Cuba and the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.
