Cuba in Focus: An Exhibition by American and Cuban Photographers - Foothill College

Cuba in Focus: An exhibition by American and Cuban photographers, captures the creative spirit of Cuban culture and its allure for photographers.  The American and Cuban photographs will be on display at the Krause Center for Innovation (KCI) Gallery, Foothill College, October 27 through December 8, 2011. An opening reception will be held in the KCI Gallery on Thursday, October 27, 7–9 pm, preceded by a lecture from Cuban photographic artist Jose Manuel Fors, 6 -7 pm Room 1501.

American exhibitors are:  Katherine Bazak, Mary Bender, Harlan Crowder, Lisa D’Alessandro, Ron Herman, Bob Hills, Mary Ellen Kaschub, Robin Lockner, Laura Oliphant, Cynthia Sun and John Thacker.

Cuban photographers exhibiting are:  Guillermo Bello, Raül Cañibano,  Mario Diaz, José Manuel Fors, Eduardo Garcia, Jorge Gavilondo, and Perfecto Romero.

The lecture will be held in Room 1501 on October 27 at 6 pm; the exhibit is located on the lower level, KCI Gallery at Foothill College 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022.  Parking is $2.00. Please park in Lot 3 and bring 8 quarters or 2 dollar bills for parking.  KCI hours of operation are Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 8:30pm; Saturday: 9am - 5pm; Closed on Sunday.  Disable parking in Lot 4-B.
