Your Time: Active Aging Week, Bocce Ball and More

Shout! The MOD Musical rocks out at the Bus Barn Stage Company all week long.

Where/When: , 1174 Los Altos Ave, Los Altos, CA. Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. 

Why Go: Alex Gerasimov, Wellness Director at BridgePoint at Los Altos will present “The Art of Living Well” – implementing the six-dimensional model of Wellness into everyday programs at BridgePoint. Then at 11:30 am there will be a Fall Prevention Exercise Class taught by Jason Murray. Active Aging Week is organized by the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), an association that supports professionals who develop wellness and fitness facilities and services for adults over 50.

Why Go: This week's featured speaker is Lynette Kersey. Come out and listen to her story of how she came to receive her best friend and guide dog, Logan. A three-year-old Golden Labrador, Logan will be on-site during the talk. Have some tea and learn something new this week at Little House.

Why Go: It's the final week! Five colorful gals come of age in this upbeat musical set in 1960s England. Groove, dance and sing along to one of the many 60s classics used in the show.

Why Go: The Los Altos Senior Center offers Bocce Ball programs for beginners and more advanced players on weekday mornings. Experienced players can enjoy some friendly competition against other seniors on Monday and Wednesday mornings, while beginners are invited to participate on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Join the Senior Center for some free fun!

Where/When: , 111 Main St, Los Altos, CA. Friday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Why Go: Come and listen to professional medium and psychic Robin Whute Turtle Lysne describe The Other Side from the hundreds of readings, healings and encounters that she has done over the years. There will be plenty of time to ask questions.
