Where to Find Girl Scout Cookies in Los Altos

Girl Scouts in the Los Altos area will start selling cookies in front of area businesses on Feb. 10.

It's Girl Scout Cookie season again, and there are plenty of ways for Los Altos and Los Altos Hills residents to get their hands on a box of Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Samoas and other varieties.

Cookie sales begin in front of several Silicon Valley businesses on Sunday, Feb. 10 and continue on weekends through March 16. Eager cookie lovers can find the most convenient location to purchase a box by entering your ZIP code into this Girl Scouts’ Cookie Locator page. A Girl Scout cookie iPhone or Android app also can help customers find cookie sales.

  • Mango Crèmes are crispy cookies featuring mango, coconut, vanilla and Nutrifusion™. The cookie is vitamin-packed, but don't go replacing a salad with Mango Crèmes. A three-cookie serving also contains 180 calories and four grams of saturated fat. However, they are sold ony by Girl Scouts in the Central California South Council and Heart of Central California Council, and you can go here to find out where to buy cookies in Sacramento, Fresno, and beyond.
  • A box of cookies is now $4, up from $3.50 last year. The troop keeps 50 cents from every box sold.

Although cookie sales are a fundraiser, the program also aims to teach Girl Scouts skills. This year's boxes have been updated to include stories of what Girl Scouts do today, the fun they have doing it, and all that girls learn from the experience.
