PatchCast Now on KMVT Channel 15

Watch and hear the news about Mountain View, Los Altos and Cupertino every week on KMVT Channel 15.

Editor's Note: This is a work in progress, but we thought it was about time we showed you what we were up too.

For the past several weeks, myself, Claudia Cruz and Anne Ernst—the local editors of Mountain View Patch and Cupertino Patch, respectively—have stopped by the KMVT studios to tape a weekly news magazine program called PatchCast.

Our goal is to recap the top news of the week, keep you updated on currrent issues and give you information about upcoming events. All of this you can already find on one of our three sites, but we wanted to supplement our online coverage with a broadcast version. This flexibility allows you the readers, and now viewers, to join us as we report on the stories that affect our three communities.

This Patchcast is only the fifth one we've ever taped and we are still making adjustments, lots of them. For one, I'm not used to being on camera! It definitely shows (please don't laugh too hard). We're making progress all the time. Nonetheless, the "Patchcast" that we're showing here is a couple weeks old, but we'll get faster at it we promise!

You can watch this on the local access channel (KMVT-15) or on KMVT's YouTube channel. And now, on Los Altos Patch.

Do you have any ideas? Would you like to see guests on the program, promote your favorite cause?
