According to the map, the youngest area of the city is bordered by Foothill Expressway, South El Monte Avenue, West Edith Avenue and South San Antonio Road, where the median age is 39.3. There are 1,872 people that live in that zone.
The oldest part of town is just next door to the youngest, where the median age of the 533 residents is 65.1. The area is southwest of Foothill Expressway but still inside the city limits.
