Kiwanis Pet Parade & Rotary Art Show - Busy Weekend in Los Altos!

It’s going to be a busy weekend in downtown Los Altos!  

The 67th Annual Kiwanis Pet Parade and Rotary’s Fine Art in the Park will be occurring in and near the downtown area.  

The Kiwanis Pet Parade will take place on Saturday, May 17 with the parade route beginning at Main and First Streets.

The Parade will begin at 10 a.m.and will travel down Main Street and back up State Street.  

First, Second, Third and Fourth Streets will be closed beginning at 7:30 a.m. to prevent cars from entering the Parade route.

The Central Parking Plazas will not be accessible due to the street closures; however access to all outer Parking Plazas will be maintained.  

Handicap parking will be located at Plaza South near San Antonio Road.  

All streets will be reopened following the conclusion of the Parade at 11:30 a.m.

The Rotary Club’s Fine Art in the Park will take place on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lincoln Park off Foothill Expressway.  

University Avenue is now closed between Burke Avenue and W. Edith Avenue and will reopen at 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.  

Patrons should plan to park at Los Altos High School, with shuttle service running to and from the Art Show.
