Fun Run or 10 K, Pathways in Los Altos Hills Rocked!

Gorgeous weather and spectacular views were the treat for runners who came from near and far to 'Run With the Wind' in the 11th Annual Los Altos Hills Pathways Run.

Photographers captured the day for Patch in Saturday's 11th Annual Pathways Run in Los Altos Hills.

The fleet of foot—or at least the willingness of heart—brought out runners old and young, from all around the Bay Area. The run showcases Los Altos Hills' pathways system, trails that trace over new and well-worn foot paths and equestrian routes that stem from the town's rural beginnings.

And whether you ran or walked, the clear skies, dry pathways and magnificent views at every turn was perhaps its own reward.

Los Altos Patch thanks Jitze Couperus, who captured the 1-mile fun run, and Cathleen Evangelista, who also photographed some of the morning's action. A big thank you to organizer Scott Vanderlip, as well.
