A Great Day At the 2013 Cherry Blossom Festival

A weekend to stroll, nosh, take in performances and see something (or many things) new.

The 30th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Cupertino's Memorial Park was blessed with warm weather and a large turn-out over the weekend, and Patch has captured some of the action in photos.

The festival celebrates the city's enduring sister city relationship with Toyokawa in Japan, and is a veritable playground to enjoy a wide variety of diversions, from a show of Japanese dog breeds, to ikebana flower arranging, to karate demonstrations, to food and fun.

Patch editors too, enjoyed their time in Memorial Park, and meeting residents from Los Altos, Cupertino, Redwood City, Saratoga, San Jose and all over the Bay Area.

Patch will run a couple of days' worth of photos for you to enjoy.
