PHOTOS: 64th Pet Parade Barks, Meows, and Squawks into Town
The Kiwanis Club hosted its dynamic Pet Parade on Saturday.
It was fun in the sun for residents and their beloved pets this Saturday as the Kiwanis Club hosted its 64th annual in downtown Los Altos.
The parade featured city employees, teachers, children and the stars of the show, their pets: fish, snakes, parrots, and everything in between.
The club, which was founded in 1947 and is the oldest service club in Los Altos, had its first pet parade 63 years ago.

The Pet Parade itself was postponed from its usual May date to September because of all construction projects downtown, including the rain-plagued intersection beautification project that saw streets torn up long after its projected completion date.
