Whole Foods' 'Nickels for Nonprofits' Partners with MVLA Community Scholars

Through July 6, shoppers using their own bags can give 5-cent credit to the local group.

Whenever you reuse your own grocery bags at Whole Foods Market on El Camino Real in Los Altos, you are given the opportunity to donate a nickel to a local charity.

MVLA Community Scholars is honored to have been chosen by Whole Foods to benefit from the “Nickels for Nonprofits” program through July 6.

When customers use their own bags for groceries, instead of getting a 5-cent credit, the money can be donated.
