Escape the Heat: Senior Centers Open as a Cooling Center

If you are in need of relief from the high temperatures this week, please feel free to stop by the City of Los Altos Senior Center to cool off. Air conditioning and ice cold water are available.

The Los Altos Senior Center is located at 97 Hillview Avenue in Room 10 and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

  • Stay hydrated and limit physical activity
  • DO NOT leave pets or people in a closed, parked car
  • Wear cool, light-colored and lightweight clothing
  • DO NOT bundle babies
