Design and Interiors Offers Lots of Inspiration

This week we are taking a look into Design and Interiors located on State St. in downtown Los Altos. From the outside of this shop we have a clean and classic looking space that draws you inside quite quickly. Right when you walk in you are overwhelmed with style and a lot of great inspiration. Some of my favorite pieces of the store are the pieces that act as accent pieces in a room to create a complete and very refined look.

Containers are a big deal in making a kitchen look less cluttered, but these can also be a quick and easy way to add some major style points to counter space. These "coffee" and "tea" canisters offer a refined look to the space and perform the worthwhile purpose of keeping coffee and tea fresh and available. These accents are a great addition to any room.

Another thing this store offers that I just love is the French chic seating space. The accent chair carries a very bold pattern on the seating space. Adding accents such as a planter box and throw pillow that hold the same color scheme but offer a distinct pattern difference adds variety and underscores the statement. The white wood furtniture keeps the look subtle and not too overwhelming. Adding this set to a space with white furniture, then adding a few shrubs would create a French country look while still maintaining a modern feel.
